/Mentoring

Every major step forward in my life has been encouraged by the people that I’ve been fortunate enough to know. They check my beliefs when I’m wrong, they help me refine my ideas, and they help me through difficult times. I believe that great ideas are best shared in ongoing, personal relationships, so it’s important to me that I make myself available to others.

I’ve had so many great experiences in my life, and I’d love to share them if you’re considering pursuing a similar path.

  • Web marketing and strategy: I’ve been fortunate enough to develop my craft working for major non-profits and Fortune 500 companies. I’m always willing to share any knowledge I’ve acquired along the way.
  • Career advice: The real world hits you pretty hard out of college (and even into your 30′s for that matter), but I’ve been able to survive in some rough conditions. I’d love to talk about your career ambitions.
  • Content strategy and social media: I did social media and content strategy professionally before it was cool. Hit me with your best shot.
  • Randoms: I’m interested in a lot of little things. Currently iphoneography, meditation, golf and getting rid of cable have my attention, but I’m open to anything.

If you’d like to work together, write me a letter at rhazlett@gmail.com responding to the questions below; I’ll write back to all letters I receive in this way within two weeks, no matter what. In response to the most exceptional letters, I’ll propose further correspondence – and in certain cases, an ongoing mentoring relationship.

  • Tell me about yourself. How did you become who you are, and who do you want to become?
  • What do you hope to gain from our mentoring relationship?
  • What’s the best thing you’ve read, watched, or listened to lately?
  • What work have you done that you’re proud of?

Thanks to @dianakimball for giving me a nudge and developing /mentoring.
