On my way to work this morning I listed to Merlin Mann’s talk at dConstruct. He basically tells a group of gown folks that regardless how much they try to hide it, deep down they are still nerds. He’s cool with it and goes on to say that it’s alright being a nerd as long as you’re a nerd that cares. The rest of the 37 minute talk is about getting out more, finding nerd friends and continuing to get better.
If you’ve never listened to Merlin, he’s very refreshing, funny, blunt and even a little nerdy. Give him a listen.
